Las Vegas October 8. Siegfried Fischbacher of Siegfried & Roy knows it’s going to be a tough fight for his partner, but they’ve been defying the odds ever since they arrived in the country together crossing the Atlantic in the cargo hold of a Turkish Steamer, with no worldly possessions except 12 Siberian Tigers.
Fishbacher smuggled the animals out of Siberia, where he and his parents were sent by the Gestapo following World War Two. Now, Roy faces the toughest battle of his life. Tougher than getting away from the Berlin Boys Choir, who all had a serious crush on him.
Fischbacher says they will definitely perform again, in spite of his partner Roy Horn's massive gaping wounds.
To emphasize this, he pulled Roy from the ICU and forced him to do wind sprints and pushups. "Tiger..VOT Tiger, my little man. Get off your assss! Arnold is governor and all iss right vith the vorld".
Fischbacher told The News of the World, "Of course our show will go on. Rouse... bitte! Pump those weights!" "vee do not let a zimple accident stop our vorld dominance of show bizzness"

Now officially, The Mirage hotel in Las Vegas says the show is closed indefinitely, and they have posted guards backstage to watch out for any sign of the Tuetonic Terror. As the assistant stage manager of the Siegfried and Roy show Helmut Puhlboy told us, "He iss just not himself..he iss in an agonyof vorry und pain"
Horn was attacked by a 600-pound Royal White tiger before a crowd of 1,500 at The Mirage Friday. He was alone onstage with the animal when it started chewing on him. Roy, the plucky little monkee, tried to free himself by tapping the tiger on the head with a microphone, but the animal just kept repeating "Mike-check...test one two". This was the tragic result of one of Siegfried’s ideas ... To cut costs by having the animals do the shows' sound checks. "The animal iss obviously insane. An insane little puzzycat" were Roy's final words before passing out.

Horn,59,is responding to treatment but remains in critical condition. Fischbacher told the newspaper that Horn was able to raise his hand in a 'V' for victory sign. "Vee are trying to keep him comfortable...but vee need to teach him a new letter. The "V" isss boring.”
Bernie Yuman, the pair's longtime manager, also expressed optimism that Horn will recover and thanked "Siegfried & Roy" fans worldwide. " Vee love you all zo much"."He understands the circumstances and he knows he muzt be schtrong! He knows vee vill accept no less from him. He iss such a talented little monkee"

Meanwhile, a representative of the U.S. Department of Agriculture confirmed the agency is looking into the attack but would not comment on the investigation.
The tiger remains quarantined.
